Dr. Posner earned his B.S. degree at State University at Stony
Brook in New York (1968) and his D.D.S. degree at New York University
College of Dentistry in New York (1972). He also served as a captain
in the U. S. Army Dental Corps from 1972-1974 and remained in the
Army Reserve for several additional years. He completed a graduate
program in Pediatric Dentistry at UCONN School of Dental Medicine
(1976). He has been practicing in Bristol since 1976.
Dr. Posner is a member
of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association
and the Bristol Dental Society. He also participates in the Gnathos
Study Club, exploring advances in pediatric and adult orthodontics.
Dr. Posner is a past faculty member of the U. S. Dental Institute
(school for orthodontic training of pediatric dentists and general
dentists) and previously served as a faculty member of St. Francis
Dental Residency Program. Through his years of dental experience,
he has lectured and given seminars for dental societies and study
clubs on various topics including pediatric dentistry, orthodontics,
and TMJ. He has recently been certified a Premier Provider for
Invisalign orthodontics. He is very committed to continuing education
for himself and his staff.
Dr. Posner’s dental practice philosophy
is to provide the most modern and innovative treatment approaches
in the most compassionate and caring way possible while working
with a talented, caring, and enthusiastic staff committed to the
same goal. He enjoys the long term relationships that have come
from providing treatment to families over more than 30 years in
the Bristol area.
Along with his wife Wendy, Dr. Posner has two
sons, two daughters and three grandchildren. In his spare time,
Dr. Posner enjoys hiking, weight-lifting, martial arts, photography,
carpentry, music, but most of all playing with his grandchildren.
Dr. Turkus earned his B.A. degree at York College in New York
City, NY (1973) and his D.D.S. degree at Medical College of Virginia
in Richmond (1977). He completed a General Practice Residency at
St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT (1978).
He has been practicing in Bristol since 1978.
Dr. Turkus is a member
of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental
Association and the Bristol Dental Society. He has attended many
courses through the years from esthetic dentistry and implants
to nutrition and dental health.
Dr. Turkus’ dental practice
philosophy is to provide the highest quality of dental care in
a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment. He is committed
to continuing his education and that of his staff. He enjoys making
people feel comfortable in his chair as well as keeping his patients
happy and satisfied.
Along with his wife Lynne, Dr. Turkus has
one daughter and two sons. In his spare time, Dr. Turkus enjoys
golfing, biking, weightlifting and reading. He is also currently
involved with the Bristol Main Street Commmunity Foundation.
Dr. Henderson earned his B.A. degree from Morehouse College in
Atlanta, GA and his D.D.S. degree at Howard University College
of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. (2005). He completed a General
Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in
Hartford, CT (2006). He has been practicing in Connecticut since
2005.
Dr. Henderson is a member of the American Dental Association
and the Connecticut State Dental Association. He is also a member
of The Academy of General Dentists.
Dr. Henderson’s dental practice philosophy is providing quality
dental care while personalizing his treatment to the specific needs
of each patient. Dr. Henderson is committed to continuing his education
through various courses, seminars and hands-on workshops.
He lives
with his wife, Raven and their collie, S’mores. When not
reading dental journals, he enjoys exercising, either by playing
basketball or weightlifting. He loves football, particularly the
Dallas Cowboys.
Dr. Goslee earned his B.A. degree at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania (1997) and his D.M.D. degree at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT (2004). He completed a graduate program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC (2007). He also received a Master of Public Health degree at UNC in 2007 and served as Chief Resident of Pediatric Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Goslee is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Goslee is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Bristol Dental Society. He also participates in the Gnathos Study Club, a continuing education orthodontic group. Dr. Goslee has also treated patients along the Amazon River in Peru, and Jeremie, Haiti during two dentistry outreach programs, and he would love to do this again in the future.
Dr. Goslee really enjoys pediatric dentistry and orthodontics and uses the newest techniques and materials in taking care of each patient. He is focused on prevention and helping with the specific needs for you child. He also does his best to provide information on what to expect with your childs dental growth and development at each visit.
He enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and their son Zachary. Dr. Matt also likes reading, racquetball, cooking, skiing, Red Sox baseball, and taking their energetic dog on long hikes.
